Andrew Gower (born December 2 1978) is the co-founder of Jagex and co-creator of RuneScape, along with his two brothers, Paul and Ian. He is credited as the lead developer of RuneScape Classic and created the game engine it runs on. Many of the early news posts for the game were written by him.
He progressively left the game and company around 2010-2011 in order to found his new company, Fen Research Ltd. During a period of time in late 2011 to late 2012, his name was removed from the list of credits in the game, but "Andrew G." has since been added under the credits of the Game Engine Team.
