Deadly Red spiders are an aggressive and moderately strong monster which can be found many places throughout Gielinor in RuneScape Classic. Even high-level players must beware of these creatures, as they can bring a players Hitpoints down relatively quickly.

- Varrock sewers (6 spawns)
- Wilderness:
- East ruins in level 28-34 Wilderness (9 spawns: 3 east, 6 west)
- Near the Wilderness runite mine in level 45 Wilderness
Deadly red spiders can often be found near red spiders egg item spawns, but they do not drop the eggs themselves.

Combat training[]
Some players consider killing these to be a fairly decent combat training method, due to the experience rates one can attain. The drawback to killing red spiders is that they drop nothing, yielding no profit for the player.
History[]
They were the third type of spider added to the game, just a month after launch. The spider's visual appearance is a red variant copy of the preceding level 2 Spider and level 8 Giant Spider.
