Walkthrough
This quest is started by talking to Gertrude in her house located west of Varrock. She will tell you that her cat, Fluffs, has gone missing and asks you to speak to her son, located in the center of Varrock, to see if he knows where she might be. Before you go to the center of Varrock, take a doogle leaf from behind Gertrude's house.
In the middle of Varrock is one of Gertrude's children, Shilop. Speak to him and ask about Fluffs. He will say Fluffs followed him to his secret hiding place and if you pay him 100gp he will tell you where that is. You must pay him the money before you can go to the Lumber Mill. Pay them the money then proceed to the lumber mill, located north-east of Varrock, east of the Jolly Boar Inn.
Collecting doogle leaves behind Gertrude's house.
Go to the Lumber Mill and find a gap on the east fence. Search the low fence where the gap is to enter. Climb up both sets of ladders, and you will see Fluffs. If you try to pick her up, she will scratch you for damage, and say she is thirsty. Give her the bucket of milk. Try to pick her up again, and it will say she is hungry. Use your doogle leaves on the raw sardine, then give the seasoned sardine to Fluffs. She meows and you will hear kittens meowing in the distance.
Go back down both ladders so you are on ground level. Now search all the crates and barrels in the area until you find kittens. It's random for everyone, so just keep searching, and make sure you don't miss any. Return to Fluffs and use the kittens on her. They will now run home. Return to Gertrude's house to claim your reward.
