Okay, just completed quest.

I think the supposed math is likely correct.

  " Defence experience depending on your defence level (*):

       ~ XP=Level∗300+1000
       10,000 xp at level 30 "

I was 40 def and went up to 43 def. Unfortunately, I do not have exact numbers as I forgot to write them prior to the fight.

37,224 is base xp needed for 40 def. I stopped shortly after getting 40 def. After quest I had 50,528 xp in def. Using above formula I would be expected to get 13k xp. This leaves a discrepancy of 304 xp which could easily be explained by me just having 304 xp over 40 def prior to finishing the quest. With such numbers I think the formula is safe. Thank you for confirming, I think I had used two values to correlate, one of a guy who had done it at 30 and another like in 40 maybe but the guy in 40 could't see good the before and after, that one was more like estimate. Thank you for confirming. --Luis12345lts (talk) 01:49, May 11, 2018 (UTC)

Possible fail states[]

It is seemingly impossible to reobtain the map pieces from the dwarf door and Melzar. IE dropping the pieces and checking the chest will not give the player another one.

However, it may be possible that if a player redoes the maze or reenters the dwarf door that it may cause the chest to once again have the map piece inside (assuming player is still missing said pieces) Shasta Sms (talk) 20:32, June 9, 2018 (UTC)

Draining prayer points[]

There's no indication that fighting Elvarg drains your prayer points, what percentage, or how often. Vahnx (talk) 11:07, October 3, 2019 (UTC)
